HELP IS HERE

A lot is happening around us which can make us stressed and overwhelmed, this can also take a toll on our mental health. When mental health declines, it can lead to further distress, making life difficult to manage.

Here are some helpful tips for addressing thoughts of suicide and self-harm:

1. Communicate

2. Identify your triggers
What situations or environments make you feel worse? Whether it’s your surroundings, the people around you, or the information you consume, take note of these triggers and try to minimize exposure to them.

3. Stay connected
Isolation can make things harder. Surround yourself with people who care about you and stay engaged with your community. Being in the company of supportive people can make a big difference.

4. Change your perspective
The thoughts you focus on can shape your emotions and actions. Remember, you are not weak, and your life is valuable. You are unique and irreplaceable. Focus on thoughts of hope and self-worth, and give yourself the opportunity to heal.
